RULES

English is the only language that may be spoken inside the school premises. A penalty fine of R2 will be charged to any student who is caught speaking their mother tongue.(The fines collected will go towards school functions).

School closes at 4pm daily. Students must leave the premises at this time unless special permission is granted by a member of staff.

The Internet may only be used before 1st session, during break times and for half an hour after the 3rd session.

Students ard not allowed to download ANY material unless authorised by a member of staff.

The kitchen is a communal area and students must wash any kitchen utensils they have used.

Students may not enter the classroom if they are more than 15 minutes late for class.

 

 

 

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 

 

 Registration fee

A registration fee of 10% of the total course tuition fee will be charged before an acceptance letter is issued. This fee is non-refundable.

 Cancellation Fee

A fee of one week's tuition and accommodation (if applicable) will be charged on all cancellations received within 2 weeks of the starting date of the course.

 Refund Policy

Our fees ard not refundable or transferable once the course has started.

Course starting dates

Programs begin every Monday of the year. Assessment and orientation, if possible, should be completed the previous Friday.

 Course/class  restructuring

It is not viable to employ a teacher for a small class. If there are less than 3 students in one class. those students will be incorporated into other classes.

 Absenteeism/leave

Students must notify AOECT if they will not be attending school. Students who fail to attend 80% of their course. will be reported th the Department of Home Affairs. Private tuition must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Only Students, registered for 6 months or more, are entitled th a break from studies of not more than 1 month.

 Private tution

Students may not approach teachers at AOECT for private tution outside of AOECT unless so endorsed by AOECT.

 Public holidays

AOECT is closed on public holidays.

 Applicable law

South African law applies in all matters of dispute.
